Terms of Service.

Who we are

InstantMill is a service of Hytex Robotics LLC, a Texas limited liability company operating a CNC machine shop in Wylie, Texas (“we,” “us”). By placing an order through instantmill.com you agree to these terms.

Quotes and orders

Instant prices are generated automatically from the geometry of the file you upload and the options you select. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Every order goes through a manufacturability (DFM) review by a person before we commit to making it; an order is accepted, and the ship date becomes binding, when we confirm it after that review. If the review finds a problem we can’t resolve with you, we cancel the order and release the hold on your card.

Tolerances and workmanship

Unless a drawing is provided and accepted with the order, parts are made to the uploaded model with a general tolerance of ±0.005″ on machined features. Requirements tighter than that, or callouts on a drawing, apply only when we accept them in writing during review. Uploaded models are treated as the authority on geometry; we do not correct design errors.

Materials and finishes

Instant-priced parts are machined from 6061 aluminum. Finishing options shown at checkout (bead blast, clear anodize, black anodize) are applied per commercial practice. Material certifications are available on request at the time of order.

Payment and cancellation

Your card is authorized for the full price when you place the order and charged when we confirm it. You may cancel any time before confirmation, which releases the hold. After confirmation, work begins and orders can’t be canceled, because custom parts have no other buyer.

Shipping

Ship dates shown at checkout are estimates until the order is confirmed. We are not responsible for carrier delays after a shipment is handed to the carrier, but we will help chase anything that goes missing.

If something is wrong

If parts don’t conform to the accepted order, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will remake them or refund the price you paid for the nonconforming parts — your choice. That remake or refund is the full extent of our liability for an order; we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the order.

Your files

You keep all rights to the designs you upload, and you promise you have the right to have them made. We use your files only to quote, review, and manufacture your parts, and we treat them as confidential. We don’t knowingly accept export-controlled (ITAR/EAR) technical data through InstantMill — if your part is controlled, contact us before uploading anything.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Collin County, Texas.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version posted when you place an order is the one that applies to it. Questions: help@instantmill.com.
